&lt;P&gt;It's possible to prevent certain apps from connecting to the internet or from running altogether&amp;nbsp;while in the background. It could be possible to reset these settings with a reinstallation using &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/troubleshooting/reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_self"&gt;these instructions&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the reinstallation didn't help, head over to your devices settings and see if you can find a setting that might prevent certain apps from running in the background.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>This happens when I'm just listening to music without using the phone As soon as it cuts out and I press the power button or even the volume button it plays again Currently not using power saver option, optimize and battery saver is turned off for spotify Not sure what else to do?</description>
