Spotify autoplay issues

My Question or Issue

Issue 1 - spotify will load by itself and start playing music which I have never heard of/listened to before. I will close this and a few minutes later it will restart

Issue 2 - on occasion spotify will randomly change tracks/music to a different playlist (again one that I have heard of) believe this is to do with chrome cast which is causing the problem

For both of the above I've tried reinstalling/logging out of everywhere and any other solution I can think of however this has not helped

If the activity you're seeing looks suspicious to you (ie you don't recognise the music, the music changes at irregular intervals), then we suggest you check out the steps in this support article for info on how to secure your account in case someone has gained access to your account.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your reply. I have previously completed these steps and this hasn't worked. I've also logged out of all machines as well
