Podcast List not remembering current episode position

My Question or Issue

Since a recent update, the podcast list is not working as it used to. It used to be automatically scroll to the current position in the list of podcasts. Now I only have the option to sort by unplayed or the other options.

Now I have to scroll through 100's of podcasts in the list to where I was and continue listening from the episode I was on.

This was working previously now it is not. Please advise how I get this feature back? I have already tried reinstalling. Thanks
