My Question or Issue

Spotify stops automatically when streaming to Bluetooth speaker / headphones. App is prevented from sleep and I've disabled notifications yet (what is advised in other topics)

What can be the problem?

The version of Spotify you're running (you'll find this under About Spotify in the app's settings).
What bluetooth speaker you're using.
Is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both?
A full description of the issue, with as much detail as possible.
How long you've had this issue.
What actions led to it happening.
Does the issue appear on any other devices that you use Spotify on?

Hi @Daisy,

I'm experiencing the same problem, when the phone is connected to a bluetooth device (car system or even a smartwatch). The music just stops when the phone screen goes off, I have to press a volum button or to bring back the screen up, for the music to continue. It happens on wi-fi and 4G, since the last 3 or 4 updates.

Now I have V 8.5.13.637

Samsung s9+

This issue was not happening since 1 month ago. It is annoyng 😐
