Very happy with Spotify. Joined Premium yesterday but one of the frustrating things about the player is that if you are streaming music over a slow 3G network (i.e. not WIFI) you can't pause the track to wait for it to load so that there are no breaks in the song.

Even if you press pause Spotify continues to try to play the little bit that it has loaded instead of waiting until there is maybe at least one or two minutes of the song downloaded. Inevitably it runs into a part of the song it hasn't loaded yet so you get a few seconds of audio and then a few seconds pause repeatedly.

I dont have WIFI at home so this is a real downer. Hopefully someone will tell me that there is a setting somewhere!

Have you tried reducing the streaming quality in the app settings?

Yes, I tried that. The settings available under

Settings->Music quality->Streaming

are normal, high and extreme (funny choice of terms!) but normal, the lowest, is the default.
