does the spotify stations app support chromecast audio?

- my chromecast audio devices do NOT show up in spotify stations app on my Samsung S9+ phone running Android 9.

- my chromecast audio devices DO show up in the spotify app on my Samsung S9+ phone running Android 9.

- so i am wondering if the spotify stations app supports chromecast audio?

I have the same issue. With Stations I only get my Rokus as choices to cast to. With the regular app I get all my chromecasts to choose from for casting. So as a work around I have start a song on Stations then launch the regular app and select the chromecast to play on. Then I can change songs on the Stations app and listen on the chromecast speakers. If I pause the song it loses that connection and I have to repeat the process.

Does anybody know if Stations will be fixed so we can use it like the regular app? This seems like a huge issue for the frequent user!
