Plan

Premium

Country

USA

Device

Pixel 3 XL

Operating System

Android 9.0

My Question or Issue

Ever since I received the new update to the app, I have been frustrated trying to perform basic functions that were easy previously. I am able to sort alphabetically on my desktop, but phone jumbles all artists unless I follow them all. There is a filter option, but no options in the filter?

I download all of my music to my phone to avoid constant streaming, yet now when I try to download individual songs, there is no option to do so. I now must download the entire album. Further, there is no option to remove individual songs from my library anymore unless the option is somehow hidden.

Finally, it seems as if I need to activate offline mode to listen to my downloaded music as opposed to streaming it. Overall, the new update to the app is very clunky, hard-to-use, and unintuitive. For a paying customer, I should have the option to revert to a previous software as I find the new update a major step back from the previous iteration.
