My Question or Issue

Since the last 2 updates, I cannot skip tracks using Bluetooth from the steering wheel when using a Huawei P20 Pro. Spotify updated to 8.5.10.774 but the problem is still the same.

I've tried the reinstallation process numerous times as advised to no avail.

I can skip tracks using other music apps on the same phone from BT and also from the same Spotify account when an iPhone is connected to the car's Bluetooth.

Is this problem being looked into currently?

Hi,

Was experiencing same problem. Having looked at the code. It seems the error is coming when the Spotify app is in carview. To solve it you can disable carview in settings within Spotify app.

It seems Spotify on Huawei has this feature automatically turned on. But interfereswith connectivity. Please like this comment if this helped you.
