How does one toggle Shuffle Play on and off in the Android mobile app?

My Question or Issue

How does one toggle Shuffle Play on and off in the Android mobile app?

The Support Page States:
To turn Shuffle off on a mobile, go to the Now Playing view and hit the crossed arrows icon on the left again so it's gray.
The playlist will now play in Custom sort mode.

But only see the crossed arrows icon is not displayed on my Android Phone App, only on the desktop app and web player on the desktop.

Do you need to have a Premium account in order for the crossed arrows icon to be displayed?

If you're on the free version of Spotify, you'll notice that most of your playlists are automatically shuffled. Your do, however, have a few playlists available to you which you can shuffle. Hello Peter,

Thank you for the insight and the link, as it was somewhat helpful, but didn't clearly address my question.

All of my playlists whether they are playlists that I created or something that I found in the Search of Spotify are automatically in Shuffle Mode.

My ask is there a way to turn-off the Shuffle Mode on my Mobile Device App with the Free Version of software?

Or is the ability to turn-off the Shuffle Mode on my Mobile Device App only availabe in Premium?

Apologies for the confusion - while there are some playlists which are available to listen to on-demand, you cannot shuffle them. The shuffle function is only available on Premium.

No, there isn't a way to turn off shuffle if you're on the free version (you'll notice the shuffle button doesn't appear in the Now Playing View).
