Music pauses when screen is off

My Question or Issue

When i lock my phone screen the music pauses, and will start playing again if I tap the screen. Seems to work fine when phone is unlocked. I have had 2 spotify updates since this problem started, and the app is fully updated.

It sounds like background activity might be limited for Spotify on your phone. A reinstallation will usually reset this setting. Here's how.
