My Question or Issue

Very often I start a podcast episode, listen to a part of it, and turn the app off. When I want to get back to the episode, the app shows it as "played" and I cannot replay it from the last point I actually stopped at. It doesn't even show up in "continue listening". I cannot even click on the episode to play as it plays for a half second and then switches to another episode in the queue.

This is obviously massively annoying, but it is a new problem (after last week's updates on the android app) so I hope it can be solved ASAP.

Just to confirm, by "turn the app off", do you mean that you exit the app but leave it on stadnby in the background, or do you close it completely?

In any case, do you mind trying a clean reinstall, making sure to clear all Spotify app data? This tends to solve a lot of common issues our users face.
