My Question or Issue

Hello, I have a constant notification for Waze in my Android and I can't even dismiss, just like there's some kind of foreground service running.. also I keep getting Waze announcements at the top of the app even if I DON'T have the Waze app. What is going on are you getting paid by Waze for this ? If I keep getting Waze ads I'm afraid I'll stop paying for a premium Spotify account.

Our tech teams are currently aware and looking into this.

If you're seeing the Waze pop-up notification, we'd first recommend first trying a clean reinstallation of the app following the steps here.

If that doesn't do the trick and you're still seeing the pop-up, we'd suggest adding your +VOTE and requested details in a comment in this Ongoing Issue thread.

We'll make sure to pass on any updates we have there so keep an eye out in that thread.
