Auto-remove downloaded podcasts?

My Question or Issue

Is it possible to auto-delete the downloaded and listened podcast episodes? This was a nice feature of other clients, i.e. Google Podcast. Going into every podcast stream and manually delete the listened episodes is a pain.

This is a great idea! In the alternative, it would be nice to multi-select downloaded podcasts and remove them. Currently it looks like you have to manually remove each one.

If you'd like to suggest what you discussed in this thread as an Idea, make sure to follow these steps:

1. Go to the Spotify Community
2. Click on Menu
3. Click on Ideas > Idea submissions
4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on “Let’s go”

As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an Idea gets, the more likely it is for the Idea to be implemented.

I have that function but I don’t want it and I can’t remove it. Can someone please help me!

Hey @Jill07,

Thanks for posting on the Community and welcome.

In order to not remove your played episodes, just head to "Your Episodes" and tap on the Settings icon (gear icon) > Removed played Episodes > select your desired option.
