Storage keeps changing from SD Card to Device Storage

My Question or Issue

Every week in a random night my Spotify app simply changes the storage location from the SD Card to the Device Storage. I already tried reinstalling the app but it didn't work.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Please try the following steps:

1. Enable permission for storage option for Spotify. This can be accessed by going to Settings>Apps>Spotify>Permissions>Storage.
2. Do a clean reinstall as explained here.

I have a similar issue, and I tried the clean install and no luck - just happened again.

I know the sd works fine, as other apps have no problem.

I change the storage back, and instead of recognizing the downloaded music that is still there, it deletes everything and starts downloading again. I find myself downloading 26gb of music again and again every week.

PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! 🙏

(I really see no logical reason to have the storage change automatically, even if for one moment the app doesn't recognize the sd, the choice didn't change, and the permissions neither)
