Plan

Free

Country

United States

Device

Moto G5 Plus

Operating System

Android 7.0

My Question or Issue

Basically, when I'm at school, music will not stream. It does, however, work if I play all the music individually at home. It's almost as if I'm "downloading" music to listen "offline", since it doesn't work otherwise, but I am a free Spotify user. I don't get any ads either, since I can listen for around 2 hours straight. This is only on school wifi though. If I didn't listen to the song before, it either doesn't play, or it will play for about 10 seconds and then abruptly stop. Since I only have 6 skips this is really annoying to have to deal with, especially since I listen to my own playlists and my friend's, which amounts to about 500 songs and means I have to stream nearly 24 hours at home, which puts quite a strain on my battery. The solution (streaming it at home forever) works well for about a month before I need to restream it since everything stopped. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it doesn't seem like any of my friends have any problems with Spotify at school. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Something worse is the fact that this "downloading" of music causes it to take up nearly 2 GB of space in my phone, which is obviously very annoying. In fact, most of it is in the cache, which I assume comes from this solution to my music failing to play. This is extremely aggravating.
