Plan

Premium

Country

Germany

Device

Sony Phone and Microsoft Surface

Operating System

Android and Windows 10

My Question or Issue

Spotify is running on both the Surface as an the Phone and I chose to play the music over the surface since my speakers are connected there. Now I use my phone to remote control spotify - I can click the 'skip' button and everything works as intended. However if I go to my likes (on the phone) and click a song both apps crash. The music stops instantly, I have to wait until the desktop app responds and have to restart the android app completely. Since the remote usability is the main reason to even use spotify, this drastically reduces my interest in paying premium.
I have already tried reinstalling both apps as well as updating everything. Nothing changed
