[Android] Long pressing or using three-dot menu hangs the app

My Question or Issue

Long pressing any song/album/anything (or using the three dot icon) hangs the app.

Steps

Open the app
Navigate to any album or playlist
Click the three-dot menu

Expected

Menu opens nicely and allows the user to choose actions such as adding to playlist

Actual

The menu does not show up. The user can't interact with the app in any way after that. Notification widget also stops working. The only way to reset the app is to clear it from recents and catche.

Doing a clean reinstall did not help with the problem. It's been a problem for the last 2 weeks or so, everything was working properly before that.
