Songs pause when phone locks.

My Question or Issue

When my phone locks, or the screen goes into sleep mode, the music pauses. As soon as I unlock the phone or press the lock button and wake the screen up, the music plays again.

Judging by other posts, this is not a new problem. Please sort Spotify, when running or in the gym this is an absolute nightmare.

Hi @TheeDonSimon,

Samsung have introduced an aggressive power saving option which is closing Spotify (and other apps) or stopping it accessing data when the application is sent to the background or the screen display turned off.
