Sharing to Instagram Stories opens camera

**This issue has finally been resolved for me!

When I try to share a song to Instagram Stories, it opens a black screen with the normal camera mode buttons and options visible. It doesn't actually open up my camera. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and restarting my phone. Both apps are the latest version.

It's a little different as my Instagram doesn't open then close. It stays open but in camera mode is all. And it lets me share a normal story, sans the actual Spotify song I want to share. But thank you for your suggestion, I appreciate it!

Other users in the comments are sharing their experiences and not for all of them the Instagram app closes.

With that being said, I'd still recommend checking the ongoing issue and providing

the following info there:

device + OS version
exact Spotify version
exact Instagram version
a screenshot showing that you have the option to share to Instagram Stories in Spotify
