Now, not only do we not have landscape mode, but since this new update, the Smart Rotator app no longer works. Well, it tries to work, but it crashes the Spotify app in such a way that I have to reboot my phone.

Crazy.

I don't really expect an answer to this issue. I just wanted to see if I was the only one having this problem.

I don't have an android so I can't confirm this issue; but I'll escalate this to the staff so they can check.

Could you post your:

Spotify Version

Android Version

Smart Rotator version

Device name

Just helps know whether the problem is localised or more global. Thanks!

Smart Rotator and Spotify seem to work OK on my Nexus 7.

Thanks for checking on this. It is seriously irritating.

Spotify v. 0.6.0.17

Android v. 2.3.4

Smart Rotator v. 1.1.2

Device is a Motorola Droid Bionic

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps (Spotify and Smart Rotator).

As it turns out, just rotating the Spotify app at all, with any app, causes it to crash.

Yeah, tried that with a couple others. Nothing works. All rotating apps cause Spotify to crash.

over one year old idea....

If enough ask for the feature again and again, I think they'll implement it...

And I think simply enabling rotation would be a first step...

It doesn't need to be as nice as in iPhone in the first step....
