Having Trouble Efficiently Creating Playlists

My Issue: I'm considering switching to Spotify from Apple Music. But every time I try to add a song to my Spotify playlist it puts me back to the search screen again. Then I have to put in the same artist again and again every time I want to add another song from that artist to my playlist. I want to be able to add a bunch of songs (not the whole album) to a playlist without being taken back to the search screen between each time I add a song.

My Question or Issue

Is it possible for me to compile large playlists without being taken back to the search screen in between each individual song I add to my playlist? This makes the playlist creating process significantly more tedious.

If it isn't I'm definitely sticking with Apple Music no doubt.
