Plan

Premium

Country

Germany

Device

OnePlus 5T

Operating System

Android 9 Pie

My Question or Issue

Using Spotify and a car radio with bluetooth support, I cannot skip tracks or control spotify in any way.

If I let the song play before I have a bluetooth connection, the song plays, but cannot be controlled. After the next song starts I can control Spotify via the radio controls.

If I start the song, after the connection is made, I can control spotify.

Other music apps make it possible to not start the song beforehand and when the connection is made I can start songs by pressing play on the radio. I could also skip before using my phone, or the next track starts playing.

This also used to be possible with Spotify, but has been patched. I dont know which version used to work.
