Keeps closing when playing music

My Question or Issue

Hi,

I'm not sure whether crashing is the word, but whenever I play something, and I either lock my phone or keep it playing in the background, after a couple of seconds spotify will close. And I'll have to go back into the app for it to play again. And it will start from the beginning of the song when I do this, and not from where I was up to before it went away.

It does the same thing when I pause it. It will disappear from my notification bar, and I have to open the app again for it to work.

It's been happening for the past few weeks, and is really frustrating considering I bought the premium so I could continuously listen to music.

I've tried clearing cache, and deleting and reinstalling, and going into my phone setting to allow it to play without being shut off to save battery.

Any help would be appreciated
