Sorry to hear the app is causing you trouble during playback. No worries though - we can help 🙂

A clean reinstall is always a good choice to start with, as this fixes many issues with the app. Just a heads-up, this will remove all your downloads and you'll have to download everything again for offline listening.

If this doesn't already do the trick, check if you have any cache-clearing, task-killing or battery saving functions enabled on your device and if you do make sure Spotify is listed as an exception.

In case the issue persists, it'd be great if you could give us a bit more details, such as:

Is this happening only on your Android device or across all platforms?
Is this happening while listening offline/online or both?
Are you listening through the internal phone speakers or headphones (wired or Bluetooth)?
