I keep getting an error saying I have to allow spotify to play in the backround, I've had spotify for years I check that immediately. (Playtime example: 14:24 - 14:47)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;There is no sleep timer on, spotify is allowed in the background, and I've got nice and stable Internet.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I've re installed several times, still the same issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Just to confirm, do you still experience this after a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;thorough reinstall&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of the Spotify app and restarting your phone? Asking since what I'm suggesting is more effective than a "simple" reinstall.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;As a heads-up, it'd also be great to double-check you're not using any task-killer or batter-saver app/settings by the time you try using Spotify again.&lt;/P&gt;
