Plan

Free

Country

US

Device

Samsung Galaxy 9

Operating System

Android 10

App version

8.5.66.1002

My Question or Issue

I've found simular-ish issues but I have some more specific observations.

When listening to media, mostly podcasts for me, the app works fine. Right until there is a push notification. Which somehow manages to effectively pause playback. Playback will immediately resume when I wake up the screen (with phone locked). As soon as the device goes back to sleep (screen off) playback is paused. Relaunching the app resets this issue. Not a huge problem just annoying when driving.

The second part of this is pretty much the same as before. While listening with phone locked if I use the Android OS lockscreen media controls, but only the play/pause button, it will pause playback when the device goes to sleep. Again, relaunching the app resets and playback is as normal. Otherwise playback is unaffected.
