[Android] settings different for same Spotify version.

My Question or Issue

The settings are different on my android phone from the head unit. Both are using Spotify version 8.5.71.723.

The headunit has no car view option to enable. Is there a reason why the settings would differ?

To clarify I want to use carview on my headunit as the display looks better than the widget.

Thanks for your feedback and sorry about the late reply.

If we understood you correctly, then we can confirm the difference is expected despite the Spotify version being the same since we're talking about different interfaces.

If you feel like suggesting your feedback should be implemented and there should not be such a difference, you can create an Idea and see what happens. To do so:

1. Go to the Spotify Community

2. Click on Menu

3. Click on Ideas > Idea submissions

4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Let’s go

The higher the number of votes an Idea gets, the more likely it is for the Idea to be implemented. If you wish to learn more about how your feedback will reach Spotify, feel free to take a look at this article.
