Bluetooth Stop command not working

My Issue:
I use a bluetooth audio system in my motorcylce helmet (Cardo FreeCom 1)
and until yesterday i was able to stop music from playing by holding the play button on my device for a few seconds (an audio cue is played when the command to stop is issued) , but now is not working anymore (the stop command still works with other players, so is just a problem with spotify after the last update)
I tried to re-install it, but no luck.
Note: i'm able to start to play music by pushing that button once, and then with the same button i can skip the track, or go back one track by double tapping it. every other command works, is just the "stop" command that dosen't work.

Any tips to solve the problem, or is just a bug of the new update and i'll be fixed with the next update?

Not rly, just switched to another android phone, amd the function was working again. No idea if was an isaue with the A50 or spotify got updated in the meanwhile
