My Question or Issue

I installed the Android app down in the corner it says get app but it's installed My husband's Android Pixel 3 phone has a library icon there.

there are many actions inside the app that I click on and it tells me to go over to the Google play store and install the app and I do that and the only thing I can do is uninstall it and open it. if I don't go over there and click open then the action doesn't even want to complete.

How do I fix it that the The app that is installed will understand that it is the app and I don't need to go get itself again. Oh it is set up to auto update in the Google play store
