My Question or Issue

Hi, i just have installed Spotify, but it never starts. Immediately after tapping the icon a message pops up: "Leider wurde Spotify beendet." (German for: Unfortunately Spotify closed.) I tried clean reinstall according to the guide: How to fix most issues with android

Still the same problem.

Hi,
Usually I have Problems like that too.
And I always report the bug, restart my phone it should work after restarting. If it doesn't, give it some time and after some time it always works for me.

Restarting was the very first thing I tried, that had no effect. I hope it really just starts working someday.

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app to make sure that any old cached files are removed?

If that doesn't do the trick, we recommend that you check your battery optimization. You should be able to check that by going to Phone settings > Battery > Three dots in the top right corner > Battery optimization > Apps > Spotify.
