Thanks for reaching out! We'll happily help you sort this one out 🙂

The camera icon used to scan Spotify codes should come up when you tap the search bar on your smartphone. If that's not the case, it's possible that some of the apps files have gotten damaged and are causing this issue. This is usually resolved by performing a clean reinstall, so that the app files get built anew. You can find the instructions on how to do this here.

If that doesn't fix things could you send a screenshot of how the search bar is displayed when you tap it? You can attach it to your post via the Insert Photo option, just be sure to hide any private or sensitive information. We'd also appreciate it if you include your Spotify version, the make, model and operating System version of the mobile devices you're experiencing this on.
