Spotify offline when using mobile data

My Question or Issue

I recently switched phone to a Huawei p30 Pro. My spotify on this device goes offline when I'm on mobile data but works on WiFi.

I did not have this problem on my previous android phone on the same account.

I have tried:

- uninstalling the app and downloading again

-logging in and out

- clearing my cache, closing the app then trying again.

Nothing works.

The troubleshooting steps you've tried so far are very good. We'd like to add a few more.

We'd suggest you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual reinstall. If you're using an SD card, you can remove it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD card.

If you are using any battery optimization or power saving apps, you can deactivate them for Spotify.
