I usually listen to albums at a time and many artists set the order for a specific progression so listening to the first then a shuffle to the fifth sucks.

I am tired of being having to check if this "feature" I'd rather not even have is active. Can we have an option to never use or always default off?

Hey @OnTheReg,

Thanks posting here in the Community!

We hope you don’t mind us replying now as we just stumbled upon this thread. Note that if you start an album using the Shuffle Play button, it will always start with that setting active. You can find out more about this here.

The app should also start with the same shuffle setting active, as when it was last closed. You can learn how to toggle it here. If that's not the case, we recommend a fresh start by performing a clean reinstall using this guide. That way if there are damaged app files that are causing this behavior, they'll get built anew from the ground up.

If that doesn't fix things, we'd appreciate a recording of what you see at your end when you close and start the app. You can use the Insert Video option in the post editor, just be sure to hide any private/ sensitive info.

Hope you find this useful. Let us know how you get on.
