Play very quietly

Hello

I use spotify to play music on a Bose speak from an iphoneX. Sometimes the music plays at normal volume, but sometimes it play very quietly. When its playing quietly I can have the volumes turned up to max on the speaker AND max on spotify and it still comes out incredibly quietly - so quiet that its not worth listening to.

I've had a loan at Bose, sent the speaker back to them twice and eventually got them to replace the speaker with a different unit, but that didnt solve it. I've also reinstalled Spotify on my phone, and it doesnt relate to the track or album which I'm playing.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to solve this? I'm on the verge of cancelling my Spotify account and using another service!

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

We also suggest that you perform a soft reset of the speaker.

If that doesn't do the trick - can you let us know which version of the app you have?
