My Question or Issue

2 days ago the green play button stopped working. I search any artist click it nothing. Go to there artist radio it works or even my playlist. Checked for phone updates and spotify updates none. Reset phone and uninstalled Spotify then reinstalled nothing. the wifes same phone and on same family plan works fine. Plz help

If this persists after performing a regular reinstall of the Spotify app on your mobile device you might need to try a clean reinstall of the app as well. This will make sure any corrupted data from previous installations get removed from the device.

It's also a good idea to disable any power saving or data cleaning settings on your device. Alternatively, you can try authorizing Spotify to run without restrictions despite the mentioned settings being enabled. Make sure you try this since such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity.

Thank you and I have reached out to spotify and it can't be fixed tell new update. I'm expiring a feature that has not came out yet.

Good point on checking this with our support team! If you happened to get a test feature it's worth knowing its availability to your account might be only temporarily.

Once the test is over you'll be able to use Spotify with the previous features, so we recommend enabling automatic updates on your device.
