Play a playlist instead of queue

My Question or Issue

Do I understand correctly that, on mobile, if I want to play a playlist while I have something in the queue, I either have to add every song in the playlist manually or delete everything in the queue manually? This makes Spotify unusable in certain circumstances.

Thanks for posting about this and welcome to the Community!

That's right - when you manually add tracks to the Play Queue and you start playing a playlist, it'll only play one song and then continue with the queued tracks you have.

If you want to listen to the playlist and not to the songs you have in the queue, you just need to clear the Play Queue by following the steps here.

Totally agree ... I want to have a "queue" set up to play stuff down the road (such as podcasts) ... but want to listen to music in a playlist right now, not my queue. This seems so obvious and is a total fail for Spotify.
