Plan: Premium

Country: Turkey

Device: Samsung Galaxy S9+

Operating System: Android 10

Hello,

Every time I download too many songs the app gets really slow; it takes forever to list albums or playlists let alone opening and playing them. The only solution seems to be deleting the songs but then what is the point of subscribing to premium.

I use SD card as the designated storage but I don't think that's the problem because I can watch 1080p movies with it. I'm also attaching my card's speed test results to this post.

I don't want to use internal storage and you can't expect me to delete songs every time the app gets slow.

Can you provide a solution or fix this bug? Because the way things standing I won't be able to use the app or subscribe to premium anymore.

Hey @c0rrupt,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

We suggest you run a clean reinstall since this step can usually solve issues rendering Spotify to malfunction in the way you're describing. You can find the necessary steps here. If the issue persists, could you let us know the approximate number of songs you have downloaded when the slowing down occurs?

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on how it goes.
