My Question or Issue

For some reason I no longer get any push notifications from Spotify. A couple years ago I remember getting updates about new songs from artists I follow or song recommendations. I hadn't gotten a new notification in weeks despite knowing artists I follow had released new music, so I was hoping it would be patched up, but nothing has changed so far! Is this a bug of some sort? If so, how can I fix it? (I've enabled all push notifications as well as reinstalled the app.) Thank you for any help, this is a really important feature to me so I'd like to be able to fix this!

Thanks for posting - we’re here to help!

If a simple reinstall didn't help you get the notifications back it's a good idea to try a clean reinstall as well. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates.

In case you still experience this after a clean reinstall of Spotify, make sure you open your Notification settings page in a private/incognito window and save your preferences. Then check if it makes a difference.
