No controls in notification bar

My Question or Issue

all the buttons have dissapeared on my device notification bar and home screen all permissions are on and i did a clean reinstall. Unlike here (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Controls-in-notification-bar-not-showing/idi-p/5099031/page/2#comments), the button are not invisible but are not there at all and there is no space for them.

Spotify version: 8.5.94.839

I already had the issue on the previous version

Only thing i found is a solution from 2016 (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Spotify-controls-not-appearing-in-notification-bar/m-p/1472748#M67730)

In case a clean reinstall didn't get the controls back the issue might be related to the particular device or your Spotify account.

You can check if this is device-related by simply logging in to your Spotify account on another device and observing if the controls appear as expected.

To check if the issue is account-related, try logging in to a different Spotify account on your device. You can ask a friend or family member to do it for you or create a test account. If it works with another account, you can follow the steps in this Spotify Answer next.

I logged in on another device (oneplus 3) and it worked correctly.

I logged in on my device with another account and the cotrols weren't there

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you confirm if you performed a clean reinstall of the app? This is different from a quick reinstall and could be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know which version of the app you have?

Thank you for getting back in touch with us.

Do you have an SD card? If so - we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app.

It would also be great if you can try with another internet connection to see if the issue persist.

no sd card. Tested on 2 wifi and on 4g, the issue persist

Would you mind letting us know the OS version and Spotify version currently running on the device where it worked?

We'd also recommend making sure that your device has no pending system updates.

the issue resolved itself with the last MIUI update.

for info I tested on a oneplus3 android 9 oxygen 9.0.6 spotify 8.5.96.936
