Abrupt sound changes in app

My Question or Issue

Whenever I'm listening through the app with aux (haven't tried bluetooth, but bluetooth sucks), after about 5 mins of the music sounding fine, the bass totally cuts out and it gets super trebley all of the sudden. If I unplug/replug the aux and press play again, it's back to how it was originally, but another few minutes later it cuts to treble mode again. I've tried multiple speakers, and it happens on all of them, so I know it's not a speaker problem. I've also tried other music apps, and they work totally fine, so I know it's not a phone/aux-hole problem.
Any ideas what's happening??

If possible, could you ask a friend or a family member to log into their personal account using your device to see if they can replicate this?

We'd also recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app, as this is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful for clearing any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.
