I've done it before once or twice, the last time being in November 2020, however, it does not seem to work. I've adjusted the firewall settings on my laptop (both third-party and desktop itself), logged in and out on both devices, tried adding the local files in question to a playlist to download, redownloaded my entire library on my phone, etc. I found a lot of old guides and topics on this that were outdated, and a website page that has since gone missing, and none of them seem to work or have confusing solutions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am also currently a university student using my school network, I have an inkling that this may be a cause or contributing factor since the last time it worked was when I was at home.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help is appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The troubleshooting steps you've tried are very good. We'd like to add a few more.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Could you try with another network to see if there are any changes? It's also a good idea to run a clean reinstall with &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;these&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;steps. That way you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing any issues.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;In case you're using an SD card, you can also&amp;nbsp;try removing the SD card,&amp;nbsp;reinstall Spotify and&amp;nbsp;then try running the app without the SD. Does the issue persist?&lt;/P&gt;
