[Android][Your Library] Music cuts out when phone lockscreen comes on after being idle

Running into an issue where:

1. Plug in headphones and play music

2. Set down phone and after 1 minute, the phone screen goes back to screensaver

3. Once screen changes, audio cuts out (pause) for a few seconds or until I turn on screen again

Please help

Same here. Started today for no apparent reason. I can play music for a while but it pauses randomly and I have to manually start it again. It’s beyond annoying.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. This includes clearing all app cache and data. Follow the steps in this Spotify Guide.

Also, try disabling any Battery optimization for Spotify. This can hinder the app's performance.
