[Android] App keeps crashing, getting stuck on now playing & stops playing contiously.

My Question or Issue

For the past couple of weeks the app keeps freezing and doesn't let me click or play anything, then when it does tracks get stuck on the now playing screen and I'm unable to control anything, even when the app is closed correctly.

I've had to uninstall and reinstall several times but it keeps doing it.

tracks and podcasts also cut out halfway through - this is on both downloaded and streamed tracks.

Please please please look into this as it's super frustrating and impacting my ability to use the app.

Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.

In case you're using an SD card, you can try removing it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD. Sometimes the SD card can lead to issues with the cache.

Does the issue occur on another device? That way we can check if it's a device-related issue.
