Steering wheel buttons not working with spotify on Android

My Question or Issue

After one od the updates I can't control my spotyify on car Android device using steering wheel buttons or device buttons. They worked OK until update where layout was significantly changed.

Car is Golf mkV GTI 2007.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

Could you let us know how you're using the app in your car? We'd like to know if you have Bluetooth, cable, etc.
