To change the language of your mobile app, you need to change the language settings on your device. See your device’s manufacture guide to find out how.

Note: This will change the language on your entire device, not just the Spotify app.

This is extremely frustrating, and a problem persisting for 6 months if not more.

Why would the developers make such an awful decision without consulting it's users?

If I wanted the change the app's default language, I would do so myself. This kind of decision should be opt-in and not defaulted based on the device language. Spotify is the only app i'm using today that's making such a critical decision without user consent.

I love Spotify but this is just so annoying! I hate that I cant change this by myself and have to wait for an update on such a basic user experience configuration.

Please change the language setting. Please.

The Spotify mobile app and web player now have language support for Simplified Chinese.
