Podcast ending prematurely

Listening to a podcast with talk and music (60 Songs That Explain the 90s) that has podcast discussion followed by a Spotify song. The talk portion of the podcast ends prematurely and goes right into the song. This is a recent problem that wasn't happening 2 wks ago. The scrubber shows the discussion is over, but it's clear the podcast is cutoff unnaturally.

I've tried:

Downloading the podcast

Streaming the podcast

Play earlier episodes that worked, now they don't

Clearing cache

Reinstalling the app

Plan

Premium (Family)

Country

USA

Device

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?

If this doesn't do the trick, could you send us the podcast's Spotify URI? To get it, open the Spotify desktop app > click the three dots next to the content > Share > Copy Spotify URI.

On another note, could you let us know if this is happening only on your phone or on other devices as well?
