My Question or Issue

Hello,

I have an Android issue when trying to use Spotify via Google Alarm Clock to wake up.

Issue : when clicking on the Spotify button on the Google Alarm Clock, it just loads forever (the swinger animation)

I used the recommended steps to fix this, including :

- clean reinstalls of both apps (delete cache and data, delete app, switch off phone, wait, switch on phone, reinstall app)

- using another network

- giving every possible authorisation to spotify app

- disable power saver mode on the phone

- authorised background access in settings for both spotify and alarm clock

- disabled battery optimisation in settings for both spotify and alarm clock

Other remarks :

- tried using SpotOn, does the same as with google alarm clock (doesn't load)

- when spotify app isn't installed, google alarm clock asks me to install it, then asks me to connect once the app is installed. But then it never loads

- google alarm clock is not on the list of third party apps that have access to spotify

- probably unrelated : tried posting this on my phone, but the page to create a post just loaded and reloaded again every second

My smartphone is a samsung S8, latest android version available installed.

The troubleshooting that @Ad98 has done is quite thorough and really good for cases like this. Could you list all the steps you've tried already? That way we won't suggest something you've already done.
