Spotify App not working on Pixel 5

My Problem

Spotify App does not change pages visually when I use the app. As in, when I open an album from my recently played, or press Search or My Library, the screen does not change. I cannot scroll through the app. I cannot play music at my own will. I just have to press randomly on the screen and hope I hit Shuffle play, otherwise the app literally does not work whatsoever. If I want to play any specific albums or songs, I have to uninstall the all and reinstall it just so I can select what I'm listening to. If I want to change the music after around 30 minutes, I have to repeat the process of reinstalling the app just to chance music. The Spotify App for Android on Pixel 5, at least for me, has been having this issue for around 5 days or so. Maybe less, maybe more days. This is very unfortunate. Spotify is literally my main music streaming service, and it's quite the hassle having to literally uninstall and reinstall the app whenever I want to change albums

Sorry to hear that you're having this experience.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps in this Guide exactly.

Also, make sure that Battery optimization is switched OFF for Spotify, and that the app is granted all Permissions.
