My Question or Issue

Spotify detects im in a car using android auto and it switches to car view mode, i turn it off, go to the settings, and select "Never" in "Switch to car mode".

Im not sure what triggers it back to default which is Auto. Since im driving, im not sure if driving is the reason to trigger it back to default, maybe some android auto thing. I couldnt find anything on android auto settings.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

You can try running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. Keep in mind that you'd need to redownload all your content for offline listening afterwards.

If this doesn't do the trick, can you try using a different connection, like Bluetooth, and let us know if that setting goes back to Auto even after changing it to Never?
