Playing bar does not update

Playback bar doesn't always update. Have to close Spotify to stop music if playback bar is still on previous song. I use Spotify in a work capacity and this is incredibly annoying. Along with playback randomly stopping. I have tried what is suggested but problem persists.

My Question or Issue

Playback stops randomly. I have done things suggested but problem persists.
